Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) and Modul University Vienna recently held their first collaborative Weekend Academy in Révfülöp, bringing students together to address one of the modern era’s defining questions: how to remain future-proof in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
The academic program featured insightful lectures from distinguished faculty. Professors Dimitris Christopoulos and Ulrich Günter represented Modul University, while Professors Géza Sebestyén and Zoltán Cséfalvay shared perspectives from MCC. Together, their presentations provided a comprehensive analysis of the trajectory and future implications of AI technology.
Putting theory into practice, the students formed small, international teams to work on hands-on workshop projects. Utilizing various AI tools, these groups developed methodologies to measure, analyze, and interpret the complex relationships between societal wealth and personal income.
Beyond the academic challenges, the weekend provided an excellent environment for networking and building lasting cross-border connections. Students enjoyed a variety of recreational activities along Lake Balaton, including sailing, sports, and swimming, fostering strong institutional ties and personal friendships between the two universities.
