The 45th EBES conference was held in Budapest, where nearly 100 researchers could present their results.
During the last two years, the student researchers of the Centre successfully presented their research results at various EBES conferences, spanning from Rome to Lisbon. In part due to their efforts, the EBES Board decided to select MCC as the location for the upcoming autumn conference.
Between October 11 and 13, nearly 100 participants from 31 different countries gathered in Budapest to attend the EBES Conference. During the opening ceremony, Professor Cséfalvay Zoltán emphasized the significance of such conferences in inspiring and providing new ideas to researchers.
The researchers from the Centre also showcased their latest findings. The research of Lázár Viktor, Borbála Borsig, and Csikó Pálfai was focused on the European deep tech ecosystem. Their research identified the cities most actively involved in developing research and development-heavy enterprises. Orsolya Székely's research focused on the implementation process of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare services, where she sought the ideal tools for analyzing this area. Last but certainly not least, Professor Cséfalvay Zoltán summarized the main findings of the Centre concerning the European scale-up city landscape and introduced the key dynamics from recent years. You can find more information about the Centre's research projects here.
The next EBES conference is scheduled to take place in Rome in early 2024, providing the Centre with an opportunity to send its researchers. We believe that the student researchers from MCC will continue to deliver successful and insightful presentations in the future.
